Aloha! From Molokai, Hawaii

Maya and I had the honor of traveling and photographing the wedding of Lauren and Joe (Lauren is co-owner of Belly Bliss) on Molokai, one of the Hawaiian Islands.

Here’s a tiny preview, as we are still in Honolulu and I’m editing on my laptop, which I don’t like too well.

Let me just say, I have even more respect for wedding photographers!!

Especially those that do destination weddings and island weddings. The sunlight is awesome on an island and beach but horrid for me as a photographer. I’m just not use to working with such harsh light. These were taken right at sunset.

PS – I still don’t do weddings. :-)

Just take pictures

Your phone and some really cool apps is all it takes! But I can’t stress enough…. backup. backup. Backup!! Backup your point n shoot. Backup your phone images.

I patiently waited and was finally able to upgrade my phone and got the iPhone 4s. Super cool phone! It’s also pretty slick in having the capability in taking semi-decent pictures. Ones I’d even print up to 5×5.

Since getting the iPhone, I’ve started a 365 plus 1 project of Life with Maya. Doing a basic Tumblr roll but also printing them out.

Do you have any special projects you do to document your child’s life, growth and development?
