I don’t blame her. Once she saw her sandbox, it was all over after that!
Sand is a lot of fun!

We had to have a little extension from her last session, and I’m so glad we did. The first image is quite possibly my new favorite image as she learned to walk in the 3-4 weeks it took to reschedule.

Maya and I like to get some frozen yogurt at Yogurt Guru across from my studio as our special treat on these hot days.

I hear that a lot in one way or another. To be honest my daughter is my most challenging subject. She wants nothing to do with mom being off in the distance with a huge black square held up to her face. She would rather I walk with her and describe everything we see that she points to. Or play in the sandbox with her. Or anything besides trying to take her picture. Most of this year has been captured through my iPhone. Which I then run through Instagram. (You can find me as Maylily78) I’ve settled that Maya’s 2012 album will be all Instagram images.
Here’s a few “professional” shots I have manged to get of my daughter. The sticking out the lower lip one kills me! I couldn’t help but put that images in to remember that sad little adorable face at this age.

Who knew a kids dress could get so wrinkly in such a short amount of time!
This week I’ve had some great sessions. Quite nice to get outside, enjoy the weather, explore and smell some flowers.
