Highlands Integrative Pediatrics

Dr. Bryan Kono opened up a new pediatric office located in the Highlands called Highlands Integrative Pediatrics. Dr. Kono believes, “…that there is a way to combine the best of natural and conventional healing in one center. We don’t have to be solely eastern or western practitioners and patients. We can integrate the two and improve the health of our children and our family in a holistic way that treats each child and family unit as a unique and valued member of our practice community.”

Client Art Mounts – Denver Family and Children Photographer

Maya and I had a fun afternoon this past Friday with two client installs of art mounts.

Excuse the cell phone quality images…….

9 – 12×12 box art mounts and what mom had to say afterwards, “I absolutely love the wall mounts. It probably sounds a little silly, but it’s been hard not to stare at them all night.”

Later in the day these were installed….. 2 – 16×24 with 2 – 11x16s single float art mounts and the below B&W layout …… Mom followed up with, “Everything looks amazing! Thank you thank you thank you! We are so happy with all of the work!”

Living Room Display – Denver Children’s Photographer

This really is my living room displaying Maya’s 3 month old session. I have found that I can take hundreds of images during a photoshoot and 20-30% of those can make a good gallery. The client is usually in love with about 20-30% of the images in their gallery. The rest they like but there are several that they absolutely love. Which is exactly what also happened with me for my own daughter’s photoshoot that her father and I shot.

So what do you do with those images that just melt your heart or have captured the child that you know? The big bright eyes, quirky smile, curl of hair or interaction with their parent?

What do you invest in? Why not an art collection showcasing your family at that moment! Do you really pull out 4×6 family albums with each visitor that walks into your home? I don’t.

I LOVE art mounts!! And big ones. These images are mounted on wood and then given a black edge finish. I really like the ones that “float” away from the wall about an inch but decided to do a standard art mount for my own living room display, meaning they mount flush with the wall.

This art mount collection contains

1 – 16×24
3 – 11×14
1 – 12×18
1 – 10×15
2 – 5×10
1 – 8×12
1 – 12×16

I really want to help my clients put together products that best display their family’s legacy. That could be a selection of art mounts with digital files and video or selection of large canvases and a few storyboards for the child’s room or mounted prints to display on an easel on a desk/mantle with a custom designed coffee table album,, etc

I’ve decided to call this Collection, appropriately named – “Maya”.

The “Maya” Collection will include:

Your Children and/or Family session
The above listed sized art mounts – Standard or floating
Professional in-home or office installation of your display
Video Montage on DVD – artist permission to copy and share
8×12 inch digital files of each image in the art mount collection in both color and black & white – artist permission to print for personal use
Web size file of each digital file with artist logo to share on Facebook or in email, etc.
5×7 bordered proofs of all images in your gallery and a custom designed keepsake box

Family Art – Denver Family and Children’s Photographer

I absolutely love my tag line, “Your children are more than just your legacy. They’re your works of art.” (R) ……… and they really are. It is awesome to be able to come back into the home and see how my clients have displayed their “works of art”.

This client has been so much fun to photograph throughout his Baby Year Plan. Each session is extremely hard to narrow down for a gallery and even harder not to use all his images in my portfolio!

Art mounts are a beautiful and modern way of displaying your images to enjoy for years to come.

Their displays work very well in their modern style home. The one of the little baby laying in the yellow leaves can be seen from the street through their living room window! How awesome is that! With the exception of the boxes, all of these are single float art mounts.
