My daughter, Maya, is a fantastic napper. Always has been. She’s consistent in 2 naps a day but sometimes you don’t know if it will be an hour or two. I’ll take it.
However, yesterday was her first real cranky afternoon of teething. She only has her bottom two and it’s been almost 5 months since she got those. But now you can see 3 little white buds coming in. Another bottom tooth with the top two and she is constantly forcing her fingers in the back near her molars to bite down on.
We rarely watch the TV but yesterday afternoon called for some snuggles, blankets, comfort food, and 20 minutes of catching up on emails. Thank you Baby Einstein!
There’s no question that Breck is Maya’s cat. He follows her everywhere she goes. He attempts to ride on her walker when she’s pushing it around. He watches the toys she plays with in the bath. They play with the watertable, blocks, scarfs and everything else together. He’ll even sleep outside her door all night waiting for her to get up. When she gets up, he is right there jumping in the crib to say hello. She laughs in delight.
This is them yesterday afternoon watching Baby Einstein. I never once told her to give the cat a kiss. She just does. No her pants don’t match. When we get home we always put on our “comfy” pants. Anything but jeans.
