Infant Sessions

The ideal time to photograph a newborn is immediately after birth within the first week or two while they look very newborn-ish. Infants usually sleep well and still curl up at this age. It is best to schedule a tentative newborn session about 10 days after your approximate due date. The session date can be flexible depending on if your little one decides to come early or remain warm and cozy a little while longer.

Infant sessions can be done at the Rachel Kemble Photography studio downtown or at your home, in the Denver area, using the natural light coming in. Please discuss with Rachel as to whether or not you might have enough natural light in your home and what the best time of day it is for that. While at your home, depending on the weather, we can take your little one outside for some fun stuff!
